SPECIALISED CLASSES

BEGINNER'S PROGRAMME

Our 14-Week Foundation Programme is custom designed to help get the absolute novice safely training BJJ as quickly as possible.

KIDS BJJ

We take children from the age of 8 years old and all our kids coaches have their Working with Children checks.

MASTERS

Affectionately referred to as "geri-jitsu", this popular class is aimed at people wanting a slower pace and is restricted to people over 35 years old.

SUBMISSION WRESTLING

In 2009 Rodney Qualified for the ADCC Submission Wrestling World Championships in Barcelona, and has also trained with Olypmic Wrestlers.

OUR CLASSES

ADULTS

With morning, lunchtime and evening jiu-jitsu classes, if you want to train martial arts then we can accomodate your busy schedule.

KIDS & TEENS

Rodney started jiu-jitsu at 12 years old and it made such a huge change in his life, he's now dedicated his to teach jiu-jitsu to others.

JUDO

At SCJJA we currently have three judo black belts teaching the art of throwing.

SUBMISSION WRESTLING

It's important to train all aspects of BJJ, including both gi and no gi positions and sparring.

WEIGHTS ROOM

To add even more value for money, memberships at SCJJA include access to our weights & circuit room out the back.

MMA

Available to members are private Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) classes, taught by Rodney and Mat Wilken who both fought pro MMA.
