Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Chatswood Academy (Est. 2001) is located on the North Shore. Head BJJ instructor is Liam Resnekov, a 2nd degree black belt. Liam is the co-head coach and owner of VT1 MMA Academy.

Chatswood Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a great place to learn authentic Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) on the North Shore. We have 5 black belt instructors coaching and great programs for all ages! We teach Self Defense and Sport Jiu Jitsu in a safe, fun environment.

We often have famous martial art instructors visit from Brazil, the USA and other parts of the world and we have students from Crows Nest, North Sydney, Chatswood, Artarmon, Roseville, Gordon, Lane Cove, Cammeray, but people drive as far as an hour just to learn real Gracie Jiu Jitsu at the Academy.

​All of our programs are instructed by experts and it is a requirement that they continue ongoing learning and training themselves. Almost all of the coaches are active or retired competitors that have competed at an international level.
