VT1 Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Chatswood

VT1 is located in Chatswood. Head BJJ instructor is Liam Resnekov, a 2nd degree black belt. Liam is the co-head coach and owner of VT1 MMA Academy.

Jiu Jitsu – the Gentle Art – is an amazing journey that will change your life! Our team is led by Professor Liam Resnekov – 2nd Dan – who received his blackbelt from the legendary Gracie Family. The Academy has 12 authentic Gracie Blackbelts everyday helping students learn the Gentle Art. Our students have become state and national champions and we have also produced multiple UFC athletes.

Jiu Jitsu is fun, safe and easy to learn. Our BJJ programs at Chatswood and Crows Nest are designed to take people with no experience or fitness and give them a confident foundation in the Gentle Art.

Looking at it in motion, some people don’t instantly get the appeal. However once they give it a go, it starts to makes sense. Some even refer to it as the game of human chess.
