Pure BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU is now in Coffs Harbour. Come and learn the gentle art, as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is also known - it doesn't rely on any striking, kicking or punching. Rated worldwide as one of the most effective and powerful martial art since it was created and introduced by the Gracie Family from Brasil.
Nowadays its techniques are widely adopted in several sports, from the UFC (MMA), NRL teams, Police Force and Special Forces around the globe.
Originally based on Self Defence techniques, BJJ is very powerful although there is no striking nor kicks, as it combines leverage to body mechanics to increase your strength to efficiently control and dominate any opponent, even bigger in size, heavier or faster.

Training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu makes you learn about your own body and develop other abilities you didn’t know you could possess. All you have to do is get out of your comfort zone and face difficulties that will push you to find solutions while making you more strong mentally and confident.
Don’t let your fitness and other excuses or fears stop you.
And there’s no place for ego in Jiu-Jitsu. It keeps you humble, as somedays you will not win. That way it teaches you to respect others.
