Welcome to GRACIE BARRA BLACKTOWN CITY Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. We seek to train the body, mind and spirit through the highest level of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction here in Western Sydney. We envision it as a vehicle for individual development and the strengthening of the family spirit, going beyond the winning, losing or contest philosophy. The Gracie Barra Blacktown City School was founded in 2018 by Coach Nelson Tromp (Brown Belt, four stripes) and Coach David Lazaro (Brown Belt, three stripes).
Gracie Barra is recognised in the Martial Art community for teaching the highest level of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. We have become a strong reference point in physical education, character development & self defence.

Our motivation is to do for others what jiu jitsu has done for us. Our goal is to change people's lives for the better thru learning the gentle art of jiu jitsu.

We have a Class Program Structure that was developed by Master Carlos Gracie Jr, the son of Great Grand Master Carlos Gracie Sr founder of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
